We are seeking a Senior Privacy Analyst that will assist in policy review initiatives for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS). Primary responsibilities include supporting HIPAA Privacy, Data Classification, Privacy Impact Assessments, and Privacy Training efforts. Primary duties include but are not limited to: Reviewing current SCDHHS policies to determine compliance with laws, rules, and provisions. Candidate will perform gap analysis on policies to determine areas for revision and update policies as necessary, including development of plan of action and milestones. Candidate will conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and System Inventories, as well as develop risk assessment trackers and develop training as needed while ensuring compliance with MARS-E and SC regulations. Will also prepare reports and other documentation for Privacy Impact Assessments and System Inventories. Candidate will develop strategy for conducting data classification to end users and develop training for end user data classification; will prepare reports and other documentation for data classification tasks and liaise with subject matter experts to develop documents, policies, and training. Familiarity with HIPAA Privacy and Security rules, South Carolina Division of Information Security (SCDIS) 200 and 210, NIST 800-53 and other NIST publications, and The Privacy Act of 1974 is preferred.

We are seeking a Military Human Resources Specialist to provide technical advice, expertise, guidance, and assistance over a variety of human resources programs in support of the Programs Executive Office (PEO) Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS) in Rosslyn, VA. Successful Candidate will Interpret, develop, and oversee implementation of policies, regulations, directives, and other issuances. Plan and carry out projects. Analyze military HR issues and problems to develop solutions. Analyze programs to determine needs of the organization. Prepare and process recommendations for awards and decorations. Prepare, update, coordinate, and monitor military evaluations. Schedule and process personnel for transition processing, separation, re-enlistment and changes of routine or special duty assignments, reassignments or other personnel actions. Prepare and monitor requests for identification cards and tags, leaves, and passes, line of duty determination, military personnel data and information management, personnel processing, training and reassignment, retention, military and special pay programs, personnel accounting and strength management, and administration. Assist, advise, and counsel military personnel on matters that concern them in the military community. Initiate and maintain personnel records of military members. Collect and furnish management data changes to servicing personnel systems management offices. Maintain files of correspondence, regulations, directives, letters and other publications pertaining to personnel administration. Advise personnel on special assignments, promotions, training programs, duty selection, restrictions and other personnel functions. Requirements Include 10 or more year’s experience as a military human resources specialist (Army: 42A, Air Force: 3S or Navy: Personnelman (PN) or government series GS-0201). Training and Education commensurate to grade or GS level; Bachelor’s degree (preferred). Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook). Ability to undergo a background investigation which requires US Citizenship.
