Successful candidate will provide support to the DHMSM TA Government Lead. Provide ad hoc support for DHMSM Clinical Informatics Team documenting and tracking action items. Facilitate weekly TA Government Leads Meeting documenting and tracking action items. Manage DHMSM Taskers by disseminating, consolidating, and submitting to DHMSM Business Operations. Develop briefings and spreadsheets. Perform risk and issue management. Requirements Include requires a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in the field or in a related area Healthcare, TRICARE, Military Health System or other Department of Defense experience preferred. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, writing in Plain Language. Attention to detail. Proactive and engaged. Successful candidate will act as the program Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) for the Defense Travel System (DTS), as Reviewing Official for the program DTS Approving Official (AO), and overall travel POC for the program. Perform routine audits of program travel budgets. Generate and summarize data reports for various program travel variables, such as trip purpose, trip dates, and cost. Track and reconcile unliquidated obligations. Track program travel and calculate associated costs to inform funding projections and actions. Coordinate group travel as necessary, to include securing group lodging accommodations, transportation, and preparing travel guidance documents to distribute to travelers.

We are seeking an Administrative Task Coordinator to support the Program Executive Office Defense Healthcare Management Systems (PEO DHMS) in Rosslyn, VA. Successful candidate will manage and track multiple internal and external taskers assigned to or action required by the PEO DHMS using two separate collaboration SharePoint sites (Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) and Virtual Collaboration Site (VCS)) in a timely manner. Advise senior PEO DHMS leaders on all administrative and correspondence tasker status including congressional responses. Receive work requests and be able to comprehend requirements to properly assign to appropriate organizational teams for action. Edit materials for format using the DoD Manual for all PEO-level endorsements. Manage the in-/out-processing program for the PEO DHMS organization. Conduct annual and ad hoc Action Officer training to teams of 20+. Facilitate PEO Organizational Overview briefings and lead various meetings as required. Produce relevant daily and ad hoc reports as requested by the client(s). Other duties as assigned. Requirements include familiarity with the DoD Manual for Written Material: Correspondence Management. Team-work mentality with knowledge sharing capabilities and able to successfully work under pressure. Extensive administrative knowledge with focus on attention-to-detail. Demonstrated experience in working actions (projects). A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a professional administrative environment. Travel to the Pentagon for quarterly Action Officer training. Ability to undergo a background investigation which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Successful candidate will advise senior DHMS leaders on legislative strategy and tactics to promote DHMS and its mission to Congress. Candidate will track legislation and other Congressional activities affecting the program; will prepare testimony and detailed briefings for senior DHMS leaders to present to Congress. Will produce written responses to inquiries from Members of Congress, Committees and GAO. Candidate will coordinate regular written reports on the activities of DHMS and the DoD/VA Interagency Program Office. Requirements include extensive knowledge of the workings of Capitol Hill and demonstrated experience in working with senior staff in Congress and the Executive Branch. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience on Capitol Hill needed!
