We are seeking a Systems Analyst/Engineer to support a Military Healthcare client in Falls Church, VA. Successful candidate will ensure that system development lifecycle deliverables meet client organization’s standards processes, procedures, and guidelines. Candidate will research and provide the industry-wide best practice for use in different phases of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), as well as assist in the development of project plans including application development strategy, configuration management, change management, transition, training, deployment, and sustainment plans. Candidate will monitor application development process, analyze risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. Successful candidate will review SDLC deliverables including requirements, specifications, business processes, system architectures, system and database design specifications, test procedures, project plans, and briefing slides. Candidate will also help develop SDLC metrics for monitoring, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting effectiveness and efficiency of system development. Candidate will collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Must demonstrate hands on experience in SDLC management, techniques, and methodologies. Knowledge of DoD and federal acquisition policies and guidance and experience with AHLTA, AHLTA-T, CHCS or other Military Healthcare Products preferred.
