Axiom Wins Major HHS Program Support Contract

Axiom 2nd Annual Golf Tourney Benefits Homeless Vets

Falls Church, Virginia. On a brisk, sun-drenched autumn morning, 110 Axiom employees, officers, clients, and supporters gathered at Ft. Belvoir’s scenic golf course clubhouse to launch the company’s second annual charity golf tournament. This year’s event raised more than ten thousand dollars to support the United States Veterans Initiative, an innovative project providing shelter, job training, and job placement services for homeless veterans.

Falls Church, Virginia. The Department of Defense, recognizing domestic violence within military families to be a serious issue, has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards domestic assaults. The department's Family Advocacy Program (FAP) administers domestic violence prevention programs on every U.S. military installation, but the department continues working to improve these programs so that they more effectively protect victims, hold offenders accountable, and whenever possible, help families to heal and remain intact.

Axiom Manager Conducts Leadership Training at West Point

Falls Church, Virginia. Axiom Resource Management, Inc. announced that one of its employees is scheduled to present lectures on Leadership at the United States Military Academy at West Point. David Maurer now serves as a Program and Technical Manager for Axiom overseeing 24 employees, but he is also a retired Army lieutenant colonel who has served in numerous command and staff positions throughout his career. His last military assignment was as West Point’s 72nd Adjutant General.

Axiom Wins Contract To Help Army Enhance Clinical Services

Falls Church, Virginia. Axiom Resource Management, Inc. announced it has won a contract to deploy a new software application for the Army Medical Department’s Medical Treatment Facilities. The software, known as Composite Health Care System II (CHCS II), is a major step toward establishing the long-awaited electronic medical record. The contract calls for Axiom to support the rollout of the information system, including scheduling software installations for various Army posts and coordinating training.
Axiom Supports Tricare WIC-Overseas

In the closing weeks of 2002, the Pentagon completed a two-year effort to launch a nutritional supplement and education program to help military families meet the often unaffordable costs of living at overseas duty stations. The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Overseas initiative is a nutritional safety net for military families stationed abroad and is implemented by TRICARE, the Defense Department’s program providing healthcare to 8.7 million military personnel, retirees, and family members. Axiom is proud to support this important program.

Axiom Expands Acquisition Support for Military in Colorado

Axiom Resource Management, Inc. announced it has won a contract to support a $781,000 document management project for DoD’s TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) in Aurora, Colorado. TMA oversees the global system providing healthcare to more than 8.7 million active duty military personnel, dependents, and retirees.
