Axiom Wins TRICARE IMT&R Support Contract

Falls Church, Virginia. Axiom Resource Management, Inc., announced today the award of a contract to provide administrative and technical support to the TRICARE Management Activity, Information Management, Technology and Reengineering (IMT&R) Directorate. Under the contract, with an approximate value of $6.1 million over a three-year period, Axiom's staff will provide network operations support, budget support, research and analysis, conference planning, acquisition support, contract management support, information assurance and records management support, as well as assisting in the day-to-day operations of the TRICARE Management Activity's IMT&R Directorate.
The IMT&R Directorate supports the Office of Assistant Secretary of Defense, (Health Affairs), the TRICARE Management Activity, and the entire Military Health System in applying the principles of DoD information and technology management. IMT&R develops and implements the policies, procedures, programs, and technical standards necessary to acquire, manage, integrate, and secure information technology systems and capabilities that support the delivery of high quality, cost effective health care services across the entire health care continuum.
Axiom is a professional consulting firm providing program management, operational support, accessibility, and IT solutions. The firm delivers studies and analysis, Web, marketing, and distance learning support. Axiom also provides information clearinghouse/distribution services.
