Axiom Recognized by Washingtonian Magazine

October 23, 2003

Falls Church, Virginia. Axiom Resource Management, Inc., a rising star in the management consulting industry, received an Honorable Mention in Washingtonian magazine's annual "50 Great Places to Work in Washington" feature. The "Great Places to Work" article is on the cover of the November issue of The Washingtonian, which hits newsstands October 23rd.

Axiom is a full-service professional consulting firm providing program management, operational support, studies and analysis, Web, IT, accessibility, marketing, and distance learning solutions.

"This is a tremendous honor," said Axiom Partner Kevin Riley. "We have worked hard to build a company that provides great support for our clients, that takes a leading role in helping the community, and that is a rewarding place to work. This recognition from Washingtonian indicates that we're on the right track," said Riley.

Axiom has experienced solid growth since its founding in 1996. Currently supporting clients such as the Departments of Defense, State, Labor, Education, and the Federal Aviation Administration, Axiom has over 400 employees, and 2002 revenues over $35 million. About 80 percent of Axiom staffers work in the Washington area, with the balance in Aurora, Colorado, and various locations throughout the United States and overseas.

"We are proud to be recognized in the 'Great Places to Work' article," said Axiom Partner Doug Peardon. "I've been reading that annual story for many years, and it's great to see Axiom's name among the elite of Washington work-places."

Axiom received the Honorable Mention in recognition of its outstanding charitable and community work. Under the heading, "Companies that Care," Axiom was applauded for being a company that cares about its people and its community. The article highlighted Axiom's good works in renovating houses through the "Rebuilding Together With Christmas in April," as well as the company's charity golf tournament, which raised over $10,000 for the US Veterans Initiative, in support of America's homeless veterans. Axiom's legendary sense of humor-considered by analysts to be a key to their success-was also featured in "Your Slip is Showing," an article about job interviews gone awry, also in the "Great Places to Work" issue.

Riley summed it up this way: "This recognition reflects the fact that we've got great people doing superb work for our clients, and they're having fun along the way. At Axiom, that's a pretty good definition of success."

Axiom Resource Management, Inc. is headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia with branch offices throughout the country.
