We are seeking talented Writer to support the Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS) in Rosslyn, VA. Successful Candidate will write a variety of technical articles, briefings, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of DoD uses.

Successful Candidate Will:

  • Write a variety of technical articles, briefings, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of DoD uses
  • Will write award nomination packages for industry awards on behalf of the government nominee
  • Will provide input on thought leadership series on behalf of DOD senior executives
  • Will research, write, and coordinate articles relating to delivery of healthcare for publication as news releases or articles
  • Must be a strong writer, proficient in news writing, web writing, and editing
  • Must have a good "news sense" and be able to write and manage high visibility writing assignments

Requirements Include:

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of experience in the field
  • Proficiency using MS Office programs
  • Must be able to interact with high level government executives and military leadership
  • Knowledge of AP style
  • Familiarity with the federal electronic health care record (EHR), EHR modernization, operational medicine, and health care data systems is highly sought.

Axiom Resource Management is currently seeking a Project Administrator to support the Defense Health Agency in Falls Church, VA.

Successful candidate will:

  • Track, monitor, and support execution of high visibility taskers for the organization.
  • Support process improvement initiatives.
  • Support scheduling and resource planning. 
  • Coordinate deliverables review and metrics reporting. 
  • Lead the identification, assessment, mitigation, and tracking of program/project risk to the enterprise and its products and services and be capable of making recommendations for improvement. 
  • Support quality improvement initiatives by documenting processes, analyzing trends and patterns in risk activity, recognizing lessons learned, and coordinate data collection and reporting efforts to the clients.
  • Support the development of governance and process packages to develop executive summaries, process maps, and standard operating procedure packages.

Requirements include:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Healthcare, TRICARE, Military Health System or other Department of Defense experience preferred.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills, and able to follow directions.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to multiple requests/tasks in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and execute all aspects of an annual conference with more than 1500 attendees, 100 exhibitors, and numerous concurrent educational tracks.
  • Manage budget, venue selection, conference agenda, attendee registration, website and mobile application.
  • Oversee development of registration website to include building registration and reporting structure.
  • Manage internal attendee approvals and substitutions; coordinate vendor and exhibitor registration and substitutions.
  • Manage call for proposals and facilitate working groups to develop agenda; maintain agenda of more than 40 breakout sessions and up to ten general/keynote sessions making adjustments as needed.
  • Generate, review, and distill reports tracking attendees, registration status, hotel block, and any ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Draft approval packages providing justification for conferences and external speaking engagements to include, travel costs, event agendas, and talking points as needed in accordance with DoD policies.
  • Proofread and quality control/quality assurance for a wide range of collateral (including website content and presentation PowerPoint decks).
  • Possess strong skills in Project management, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment with minimal direction.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders on multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements Include:

  • Ability to undergo a background investigation that requires U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Strong initiative, exceptional project management skills, and adaptability to meet client needs as they arise.
  • Strong critical thinking, writing and editing skills needed.
  • Experience with the military and/or IT is preferred.

Axiom Resource Management is seeking a Congressional Liaison to support the DoD Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS) Program Executive Office. 

Successful candidate will:

  • Advise senior DHMS leaders on legislative strategies and tactics to promote DHMS and its mission to Congress.
  • Track legislation and other Congressional activities affecting the program.
  • Prepare senior DHMS leaders for Congressional hearings and meetings by drafting testimony, analyzing the positions, issues and concerns of Members of Congress and developing proposed responses to questions, requests for information and questions for the record.
  • Draft and coordinate the timely submission of recurring reports to Congress. 
  • Monitor, track and help respond to formal inquires submitted by Government Accountability Office and the Department of Defense Inspector General.

Requirements include:

  • At least 4 years of experience working on Capitol Hill.
  • Outstanding oral and written communications skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft office and collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint).
  • Experience with appropriations or health information technology issues is desired.
  • Ability to undergo a background investigation that requires U.S. Citizenship.
